The other day , I saw this big building that kinda odd in its place. It is as big as giant shopping complex and has that another university look . Something that we always see here.. At first i thought this must be another oil factory or so . Later I found out that it was called Mesra Mall , own by Suria Klcc.

The first thing that came to my mind was - Why not open it in Dungun ? why kertih whyyyy.. To me kertih is like a hollow town. Most of the shop houses are not even operating and they’re opening one of the biggest mall ever in Terengganu where people don’t really stay.

It’s odd really. I do wonder why the town look so hollow.

well yeah they have lots of industrial buildings , shop houses which look like nobody goes to , lots of petronas houses but heck the road in Dungun is much more Jammed than in Kertih. Plus our town is much more crowded if you compare it. The only time we see road jams in kertih is where morning people went to work and at the end of office hours where people want to go home. Yes kertih is our industrial section but.. ta hell ? Yes kertih i hate u.

Good news is It only took about 30mins from Dungun to get there. And it’s only 5 mins away from McD . It’ll be open on 15th August 2008. Confirmed. Raya this year should be much more lively

I stayed up last nite just to watch Sony e3 2008 press conference and I was utterly let down by sony and streamyx. For the first 20mins I had a really smooth connection streaming live e3 video and after that nothing moved . Streamyx decided to phail on me. After 20mins of trying , reconnect , restart , reboot modem , finally I saw a tiny bit preview that Resistance is also ported to PSP which again, utterly a let down for me. And after that I went to bed.

I tell you why am I so anticipated over Sony E3 press conference, it’s because ffxiii ported multiplatform on xbox 360. Yes, it was a total utter shocking news for all of us who adore FF series and sony gaming consoles. I think I spoke for everyone when I say I expected at least Sony will give a comeback at Microsoft . Sadly, they didn’t.

A few weeks ago csi (tv series) showed a case about rodeo in Las Vegas. The series was about a talented guy in rodeo tournament dies in an unknown case of accident. Few hours before that, he mounted the most aggressive bull and managed to be on it for more than 15 sec but was thrown away in a rough way. The show showed what mostly would happen in a rodeo show in Las Vegas. Just so you know, me and my dad loves everything about cowboys and wild wild west .

Perhaps some of you do not know what is Rodeo’s all about .Rodeo is a sport which involved on herding the cattle. It was based on the skills required of the working vaqueros and later, cowboys, of what today is the western United States, western Canada, and northern Mexico. Today it is a sporting event that consists of several different timed and judged events that involve cattle and horses, designed to test the skill and speed of the human cowboy and cowgirl athletes who participate.

National Finals Rodea widely known as NFR or World Series of Rodeo , Super bowl of Rodea are organized by Profesional Rodeo Cowboys Association. It is the premier championship rodeo event in the United States which is held in the first week of December at the Thomas & Mack Center , campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas . Among all of these events, the one we see most on tv and the one that I myself interested in watching is bareback riding. Each competitor climbs onto a horse, which is held in a small pipe enclosure called a bucking chute. When the rider is ready, the gate of the bucking chute is opened and the horse bursts out and begins to buck. The rider attempts to stay on the horse for 8 seconds without touching the horse with his free hand. On the first jump out of the chute, the rider must “mark the horse out.”

This means he must have the heels of his boots in contact with the horse above the point of the shoulders before the horse’s front legs hit the ground. The rider that manages to complete a ride is scored on a scale of 0-50 and the horse is also scored on a scale of 0-50. Scores in the 80s are very good, and in the 90s, are exceptional. A horse who bucks in a spectacular and effective manner will score more points than a horse who bucks in a straight line with no significant changes of direction.

It may sound simple but the horse and cattle there aren’t exactly like malaysian’s cows. Take a look at youtube video here for an example.

Abdullah said he had struck an agreement with his deputy Najib Razak to hand over power but first wanted the opportunity to implement reforms and projects promised since he came to office five years ago.

“I have decided to hand over my position to Najib to take over as party president in June, in the middle of 2010,” Abdullah told a press conference.

The president of the ruling United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), which leads the Barisan Nasional coalition, is traditionally prime minister.

“I have achieved an agreement with Najib that I will not lead the BN and UMNO in the next election… and also this means that a transition of power must take place,” he said.

Abdullah had resisted calls to quit after general elections that handed the opposition unprecedented gains, and a fuel price hike that triggered public outrage and a series of protests.

“My wish is to strengthen the party and carry out the implementation of programmes and promises made at election time,” he said as he stood alongside Najib and other senior UMNO leaders.

Najib pledged his support for Abdullah and urged the party to accept his decision and re-elect the premier in leadership elections in December where disgruntled UMNO elements had been expected to vent their feelings.

“Today starts the process of the transition of power in an orderly manner, following UMNO tradition, where he has given support for me to be his replacement,” he said.

“I will continue to accept Abdullah as head of the party,” he said.

“I urge members to support the candidacy of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as president of the party in the upcoming elections and urge party members to accept this.”

Asked about his feelings, Abdullah jokingly pretend to cry and said: “I feel a little sadness, nothing more than that. I feel a sense of achievement, I have taken steps that are well received.

After a meeting of UMNO division and branch leaders — whose support Abdullah needs to stay in power — the embattled premier said he was confident the party would accept the long-range departure plans.

“The meeting gave me a standing ovation after this so I think it was well received,” he said.

Political uncertainty since the elections, which has hurt Malaysia’s financial markets, was heightened after opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim said he is poised to seize power with the help of government defectors.

Anwar and Najib are now gripped in an astonishing political brawl, with both facing serious misconduct accusations that could decide who will be the next prime minister.

Anwar faces new allegations of sodomy — the same charge he was jailed over a decade ago — which he says are fabricated by the government, and Najib has been forced to deny accusations that he had an affair with a Mongolian woman murdered in 2006.

Abdullah dismissed suggestions that the ongoing trial in that case — a close friend of Najib has been charged with abetting the murder — had played a role in the timing of his departure.

“I think that is separate. This is a decision at a party level,” he said.

The opposition alliance on Thursday filed a motion in parliament seeking to hold a debate on the “loss of confidence” in the coalition government.

“The public has lost confidence in the integrity of the government,” said Anwar’s wife Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, who leads his Keadilan party.

“The people are now facing a huge crisis, having to bear the burden of expensive fuel, the higher cost of food and basic needs. The parliament should debate this motion,” she said.
