Bigfoot found in Georgia

One of the two samples of DNA said to prove the existence of the Bigfoot came from a human and the other was 96 percent from an opossum, according to Curt Nelson, a scientist at the University of Minnesota who performed the DNA analysis.
on 15th August 2008 , Two men claim to found bigfoot remains in georgia woods. Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer repeatedly said that their claim is not a hoax and that scientific analysis will prove it.

“We were not looking for Bigfoot. … We wouldn’t know what we were doing if we did,” said Whitton, a police officer on leave after being shot in the hand while making an arrest. “I didn’t believe in Bigfoot at the time. … But you’ve got to come to terms with it and realize you’ve got something special. And that’s what it was.”
The men say they were hiking in early June when they discovered the body of a 7-foot-7, 500-pound half-ape, half-human creature near a stream. They also claim to have spotted about three similar living creatures — and showed reporters video stills of what they say is one of those creatures shadowing them through the woods.
Dyer and Whitton said they were carrying a video camera during their hike to film wildlife.
They said they handed the body over to Biscardi, who is keeping it at an undisclosed location until a team of scientists can examine it.

Pemasyhuran Dungun

The theme for this event is Sayangi Dungun, Dungun Membangun .
The whole city is now crowned by blue , green and red lightings as you past by the center of the town and the main gathering place. It is indeed the best event for Dungun, Terengganu ever.
Everyone is invited to celebrate this occasion.

Tadi aku lalu kot balai polis baru dan nmpk ada org tgh pasang banner majlis pengistiharan majlis perbandaran dungun. Naik taraf bandar dah dungun kite. Berlangsung dr 8 ogos sehingga ke 31 ogos ..
Antara yg diketahui adlaah Larian Jambatan Kuala Dungun pd 16 ogos , lagi 5 hari dr skrg.
Larian Jambatan Kuala Dungun sempena pengisytiharan Majlis Perbandaran Dungun (MPD) pada 16 Ogos ini dijangka mendapat sambutan menggalakkan.
Bagi mencapai sasaran 5,000 peserta, larian dibahagikan kepada empat kategori iaitu terbuka lelaki, terbuka wanita, veteran dan pelajar. Borang penyertaan akan disiarkan Harian Metro (HM) mulai esok.
Yang Dipertua Majlis Daerah Dungun (MDD), Zainal Abidin Hussain berharap larian itu mampu menjana pelancong ke daerah ini yang bakal dinaikkan taraf kepada majlis perbandaran.

Terengganu MB: Probe Monsoon Cup, Islamic Park
KUALA TERENGGANU: The authorities should investigate if there was graft in other high-profile projects in Terengganu and not just the issue of high cost of maintaining official cars, said Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said.
He said the Anti-Corruption Agency should not be selective and should also conduct investigations into projects like the prestigious Monsoon Cup sailing event and the Islamic Civilisation Park.

In an immediate response, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said this was up to the ACA.
“If the ACA finds reasons to initiate investigations into them because there is suspicion of elements of corruption, it is up to the ACA to decide,” he told reporters after the National Academic Awards 2007 in Kuala Lumpur.
Ahmad Said, in a press conference here yesterday, said the two projects he named were “only the tip of the iceberg”.
