Next month would hit 1 year mark of my un-renew driving license. The reason for it to take this long is due to me being lazy queuing in post office . To be honest , I dislike being in crowded places so this online renew thing which we can use to renew roadtax, driving license, pay summons and Insurance is quite useful.

Any bank that offers online banking can follow this guide. Myeg allows maybank2u,cimb, bank islam, hong leong, PBE, RHB , Visa and Mastercard.

How To Renew Your Driver’s License Online

Register at Myeg.com.my. Login and pick the thing that you wanted to renew. In this guide we’ll be renewing driver’s license.

Fill in the form. You may choose for your license to be delivered to your house or pick it up at any e-khidmat or renew it with mycard. I will choose postage option because I am too lazy to go out . Delivery charges will apply according to where you are stated.

At the bottom of the page you may pick to pay using FPX ( online banking ) Visa/ Mastercard or myeg prepaid. In this guide We’ll be using Cimb Clicks.

The next page shows us the information we enter, check if it’s correct and pick your payment choice again. Next page will give us bank option, fill in your e-mail and click next.

A window will popup with your bank choice of login. If you log-on a bit late, it will deny your login . If this were to happen, do not worry as you can just close that pop-up window and reselect your choice of bank.

Logon and request tac, click submit and wait for it to process your receipt. It will show 3 receipts, one from bank in window popup , other 2 is from Myeg. Please print the last receipt invoice from myeg as proof of payment.

Now all we need to do is wait for Mr.Postman to drop by with our driver’s license. In case you were wondering, I was charged RM38 to renew online. RM30 for the license, RM6 for postage and RM2 for service charge.

How to renew with Visa/Mastercard Payment of Choice

Same as above and choose Visa/Mastercard at step 4. After that it’s the same .
