How to update psp to ofw 6.35 and cfw 6.35 Pro B-3
This post will guide you on how to update psp 2000/3000 series with firmware 5.03 or anything below 6.35 to 6.35 pro B-3 . A little bit info about 6.35 Pro B-3 , we no longer need to use chicken hack to play games, we now only need to run custom firmware 6.35 Pro B to play download/iso/cso/backup games

If your psp official firmware are 6.35 below, download ofw 6.35
Download custom firmware 6.35 Pro-B so that we can do magic things with our psp

If your official firmware is already 6.35 then there is no need for you to download ofw.
How to update from 5.03 and others to 6.35
Skip this part if you already had 6.35
- format memory card first. In psp setting go to system-format memory
- connect your psp to computer
- extract eboot.php into psp/game folder like in the picture and disconnect psp from computer.
- in psp menu, go to game and run firmware. Your battery life need to be at 100% so make sure you recharge first
- psp will reboot and ask if you would like to upgrade. Just keep pressing ok and it will auto update itself till finish
p/s : there’s no way you could go wrong with this. it’s really simple
How to install custom firmware 6.35 Pro B
Remember to uninstall any previous custom firmware you had first!!
- connect your psp to computer
- extract 6.35proupdate with it’s folder into psp/game
- disconnect psp and go to game menu and run 6.35 pro update
- a black menu with white font will appear as picture. press x and wait till it finish. It will install cfw in your psp. When it’s done, press x again to launch cfw. Psp will reboot into cfw.
after that go to settings and check for system info. if it looks something like this then Congratulations you are now running cfw 6.35. Go nuts and play games
if i already have 6.35 pro b4 and want to update to pro b7, is the process same with above(ofw to pro b3)?
there’s no need to update ofw as you are already on 6.35. just update cfw
so, i just need to download and use the pro updater from my psp right? and, my psp already have quickboot, is it lost if i upgrade my cfw ?

ermm..im stuck at the first step..i download ofw 6.35 and only have eboot.pbp but in picture showing PROUPDATE where to get it?
that’s from cfw. u need to download cfw , even without that folder you still able to update with just eboot.pbp.
update OFW first then delete OFW files. After that put in CFW and update. Don’t delete cfw as you may need it when you restart psp

U should place the eboot.pbp to a folder named “update”
u’re right. that’s probably because when i made this guide the ofw that came with it already has “update” folder. so u just extract the folder in “game”.
