The other day , I saw this big building that kinda odd in its place. It is as big as giant shopping complex and has that another university look . Something that we always see here.. At first i thought this must be another oil factory or so . Later I found out that it was called Mesra Mall , own by Suria Klcc.

The rumors tenants ;

1. GIANT
2. TGV Cinemas - Opening Early 2009
3. U-BOWL - Opening Oct 2008
4. Starbucks ( really? bcoz starbuck has been announce bankrupt earlier this year )
5. Secret Recipe
6. Giordano
7. Tomei
8. Body Shop
9. Toys R Us
10. City Chain
11. Guess Accessories
12. Felisa Cosmetics
13. Carlo Rino
14. Anakku
15. Roti Boy
16. Burger King
17. Reject Shop
18. Bata
19. Various Photo and handphone shops
20. Health Spa

The first thing that came to my mind was - Why not open it in Dungun ? why kertih whyyyy.. To me kertih is like a hollow town. Most of the shop houses are not even operating and they’re opening one of the biggest mall ever in Terengganu where people don’t really stay.

It’s odd really. I do wonder why the town look so hollow.

Good news is It only took about 30mins from Dungun to get there. And it’s only 5 mins away from McD . It’ll be open on 15th August 2008. Confirmed. Raya this year should be much more lively :roll:

The real confirmed tenants are;

1. Popular Book Store ( you can google this. it’s quite as same as MPH bookstore and they’re holding an interview for those who’s interested today and tomorrow. )
2. Guardian Pharmacy

    aku rasa sebab utama mesra mall tidak di buka di dungun adalah untuk mengelakkan budak2 poli dan uitm dungun menghabiskan masa melepak2 dan berpoya2 di mall.
