My wordpress has this problem where in custom key fields, 100s of mm_handled keys come out. This came out every time I try to create new post or edit any post. So for the past 3 weeks, I’ve been feeling really lazy logging on or posting.
Since 12am today I’ve been trying to fix it. Finally I succeed! With a much simpler way than what I expected.
I installed a clean wordpress just to see if I still encounter errors ( because if it does, it could be my pc that’s making da problems) . No errors.
So I reinsert my previous wp db . refresh wordpress . ( errors come out again ) . Maybe backing up wp using phpadmin wasn’t a good idea.
So I looked for a wp backup plugins. Installed it. Refresh wp. ( … still error )
And then.. I saw an export function in wp manage menu. It would only export your categories, photos and post. It’ll be saved in XML extension. Great idea, maybe that would work.
So I did that. Installed a clean wp again, and export the XML .. No more errors.
Now, I do feel kind of stupid for not trying that earlier. I hope this post would help those out there who are having same problems as I am ?
